Rtn Abul Zaker, a charter member and GSR of Rotary Club Dhaka Dynamic, joined the Rotary Club of Chittagong Midtown, Chittagong in 1986 and was a charter member of Dhaka Premier. Rtn Zaker served as District Governor of District 3280 during 2011-12. PDG Abul Zaker is a Biochemist and registered pharmacist, former Technical Director and Site Director of GlaxoSmithKline Bangladesh, and former CEO of RAK Pharmaceuticals covering 35 years of active professional life. Associated as a life member of many organizations. Such as BARDEM, Pharmaceutical Executive Club, Chittagong Shishu Hospital, BNSB, Bangladesh Quality Council, and so on. He is also past president of AOTS, Chittagong chapter. Abul Zaker is a widely traveled person, who visited most of the key cities of the world. Attended a few INSIAD programs in Singapore and attended AOTS programs in Japan.. His hobbies are reading, writing, photography, and traveling. Rtn Zaker married to Jesmine Zaker and blessed with two daughters. The family migrated to Canada in 2012 and now living in Montreal. His recent book “ Ghandhi theke Bapuji” was published in Dhaka last year. PDG Abul Zaker is a recipient of Rotary’s highest award “Rotary service above self”

Mohammed Jahangir Alam Khan is a senior management professional since 1966 and a social worker since 1961. He undertook sales and marketing training in 1979 in London and undertook marketing study tours in six countries organised by EPB (Bangladesh) - UNTAD -GATT, Geneva, Switzerland. He undertook 4 (four) more Trainings in Tea sales and marketing, Mega food management services, Fire Insurance underwriting and Tea sales, marketing, financial management, export management and labour management in 1981, 1983, 1993 and 1994. He Completed Charter Accountancy course in 1965, Bachelor of law course and passed part 1 in 1992, post graduation diploma course on Marketing management in 1992. He worked as General Manager, Bangladesh Aroma Tea Ltd from 1973 to 1985 and Executive Director at Sunman group of company from 1985 to 1986, Resident Director Bangladesh for Kti Energy & Recource services ( pvt.) Ltd A division of Pathfinder group, Karachi, Deputy General Manager, United Insurance company Ltd a division of Duncan group, London from 1986 to 1993, Resident Director Bangladesh for Pathfinder Finder group, Karachi, Pakistan from 1997 to 2000, Deputy Managing Director, Eastland Insurance Company, Bangladesh from 20000 to 2016 and he is working as Business Consultant, Asia Insurance company, Bangladesh since 2017. He also served as group member in five trade delegations organised and sponsored by Bangladesh Government and private agencies. He has widely travelled in 4 ( four) continents and 26 countries. He is the Founder and President and life member of Port Residential area - Sabuz Sangha since 1961. He is also senior vice president and life member of Chandpur Samity in Chittagong since 1984, life member and render active services to Maa- o-shishu ( mothers and child) hospital, Chittagong kidney hospital, Diabetics hospital, Bangladesh National society of blind ( BNSB). He is a Trustee( Board member) of Chittagong Eye Infirmary and Training Complex and Director of Imperial Hospital Ltd. Chittagong, Bangladesh. He is a Rotarian and render active services since 1984. He Served in various capacity as Club president, Directors, Hony. Treasurer, District team members, committee chairman for District Award Committee, Election commissioner and chief election commissioner. He also served as District treasurer for one year.

Resume of Professor Jasim Uddin Ahmad Professor Jasim Uddin Ahmad is a renowned educationist, environmental researcher, activist and community worker. He was the Vice Chancellor of Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh (2001-2004). He is a former President of the Federation of Asian Chemical Societies, FACS (2015-2017) and the Bangladesh Chemical Society. At Jahangir Nagar university Prof. Ahmad was the Dean, Chairman of Chemistry department, Provost of MH Hall, Director TSC at University. He was also ay senior lecturer at University of Jos, Makurdi Campus, Nigeria. Prof. Jasim was the President of Federation of Bangladesh University Teachers Association, 1999 and Jahangirnagar University Teachers Association for two terms. Prof. Ahmad was the Chairman and Treasurer of the Association of Universities of Bangladesh, Council Member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities and Member of the Board of Governors, Public Administration Training Centre (BPATC). Prof. Ahmad is closely associated with FOBANA, the Federation of Bangladeshi Associations in North America since early 1990s. He was invited special Guest and Guest of Honour in few Conventions. In 2019 he was the special guest in FOBANA Conversion held in LaGurdia Convention Centre, New York. He presented the Key-note presentation. Recently, in 2023 August he was the Key-note presenter in FOBANA Convetion held in Sheraton Hotel, Queens Street, Toronto, Canada. He is a Rotarion of Rotary Club of Danforth, Toronto since 2021. He was inducted as a Rotarion of Rotary Club of Jahangirnagar in 2001. He facilitated many activities of Rotary Club in organizing District Conference, Rotaract Conference in the Central Auditorium of Jahangirnagar University. He also gave Rotary Club every year lot of space for Tree plantation. He is residing in Toronto, Canada since 2017. He also plays a very active role here, in various Organizations. Prof. Ahmad is the Honorary Director of the Love and Hope Foundation, Canada and contributing significantly for the Foundation. He was a Past President of Love and Hope Foundation. He is the President of Dhaka College Alumni Association of Canada and Chief Advisor of Dhaka University Alumni Association of Canada. Prof. Ahmad has 75 research papers to his credit and presented many seminar papers. He is the Author and Editor of 35 books, published about 250 popular articles. He was the Chief Editor of Journal of Bangladesh Chemical Society and member of editorial boards and reviewers of different national and international journals. He has supervised more than 40 Ph.D and MS students. Prof. Ahmad is the President, Bangladesh International Farakka Committee. He was one of the key person for organizing Chilmari Long March and Grand Rally in 2005 with Atiqur Rahman Salu, Chairman IFC, Syed Tipu Sultan, Secetary General IFC and other leaders. The programme was organized to protest against the upstream water diversion by India, which was attended by more than half a million people. He was also involved in organizing many national and international seminar and symposium on water related issues at home and abroad. Prof. Jasim was the member of Editorial Board of "Documentation of the problems of Water and Arsenic in Bangladesh", the international publication of International Farakka Committee, IFC and other publications of IFC. Prof. Ahmad is an ardent follower of the Great Leader Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhasani since his early student life. He visited Santosh, Tangail many times when Great Leader was alive and numerous times after his death. He was involved in organizing the 1st National Conference of Krishak Samiti of Bhasani in Shibpur in 1972 under the leadership of Janneta Abdul Mannan Bhuyia, and other two public meeting of Bhasani at Shibpur. He was one of the key person in forming "Bhasani Anushari Parishad" in 2012 with all out support of Kazi Zafar Ahmad, another legendary leader of Bangladesh. He was the Executive Chairman with Bhasha Matin as the Chairman. Since then the organization is trying nationally and internationally to potray the correct image of Mojlum Janneta Maulana Bhasani in the creation of Bangladesh. Prof. Jasim writes regularly in newspapers and magazines on the ideals of Maulana Bhasani and participates in talkshows and zoom meetings. Prof. Jasim was the Convener, Centenary Celebration of Dhaka University Alumi Association in Toronto in 2019. Prof. Jasim was awarded the Ekushey Padak in 2006 for his significant contribution in Education. He was awarded the prestigious Fellowship of Federation of Asian Chemical Societies in 2019. He received the award and medal from FACS President of Taiwan, Past President of Australia. TVHe also received many other prestigious award, Millennium Gold Medal of American Biographical Society and others. Prof. Jasim visited more than 60 countries in Asia, Europe, Australia, America and Africa including USA, Canada, Japan, China, Singapore, Hongkong, Taiwan, South and North Korea, Australia, New Zeland, France, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Nigeria, Egypt etc. He is married to Dr. Nazma Ahmad a veteran social activist, researcher and Community activist. He has two sons Nabil Jasim Ahmad and Mahjuj Jasim Sourav, both of them are residing in North America.

Linda Greeley is a past Chief Advisor of “love & hope foundation canada”. She has spent over three decades in healthcare as a PACS administrator /manager of multiple Independent Health Care facilities in Toronto. She found her career to be very fulfilling. Linda was born in Nova Scotia. Raised and educated in Toronto. In addition had completed a diploma course in IT & software. She is married with a son and one grandson. Linda has recently retired but still stays connected with many of her colleagues she worked with in addition she has volunteered her time for over 35 years to many worthy organizations such as love & hope foundation canada.

Mohd Golam Faruque was born and raised in Bangladesh. By profession, he is a Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologist (MRIT). He worked with Medinova Medical Services and Chevron Clinical Laboratory Ltd. as a Medical Radiation Technologist and additionally with Medionics Imaging Ltd. as an application specialist. He is an Ex-Rotaract, Rotarian and Charter member of Rotary Club of Chittagong Sagorika, Bangladesh. He is the founder of IARRT which is an online educational platform for Allied Healthcare Professionals. He compiled “concise notes on MRI in 2006. He has published a series of multimedia presentations on MRI which is exception to Asia and Europe. He also has a book published in IARRT. Mohd is a Rotaract and Charter member of the Rotary Club of Chittagong Sagorika, RI District 3280 Bangladesh. He is also a member of the Rotary Club of Toronto Danforth RI District 7070 Canada. He is also a Paul Harris Fellow (PHF). He is the recipient of 4 Avenue of Service Citations from Rotary International. He loves Charity and volunteering. He is a life member of many Charity Organizations in Bangladesh. He is also one of the entrepreneur of Apollo Imperial Hospital Limited, Chittagong, Bangladesh (Super specialist Hospital). Soon after arriving in Canada with his family, he started volunteering at St. Joseph Health Centre as a skilled medical professional. After completing three years of volunteering at the health centre, he was inspired to start his own charity organization. Later he founded “love & hope foundation canada”. Mohd is working at Kingsway Imaging Centre Corporation in Toronto, Canada since 2018.

Sharmin Islam was born in Rangpur, a city in the North Western part of Bangladesh. She was raised there and received her education. Her family comprises of herself and her son. Sharmin is currently employed as assistant teacher in a government primary school. She is passionate about teaching and has utilized her skills to teach and volunteer with underprivileged children. In addition she has been a member with love & hope foundation canada since 2018. She holds the position of honorary secretary and board of director.
